Qantas announces industrial action of Australian Licensed Aircraft Engineers Association (ALAEA) which may affect flights schedule of some already issued tickets. Customers holding a valid ticket issued before on/before 4^th Oct 2011 to travel on 3^rd/4^th Oct 2011 may be directly affected by flight schedule change or cancelled by industrial action can check their latest flights information on Home page of airline. These passengers are allowed to select any of below given alternative options.

1. They can book a new flight
2. Re-route travel
3. They can change destination, same value of ticket will be used towards the purchase of new ticket, if new fares is expensive than additional fare collection will be applicable.
4. Retain the value of ticket in credit and in future they can purchase a new ticket within 12months from the original ticketing date, additional fare will be collected if applicable
5. Changes permitted same day of departure but for continence make change prior to departure
